Fundraising notes:

HIT-A-THON

The hit-a-thon is scheduled for Feb 12 or 19.  All players should have their hit-a-thon pledge sheets by now.  Please work hard to raise pledges for this event.  This event plays a major role in keeping costs down as well as funding equipment purchases.  Each player is responsible for at least $75.  Anything over $200 can be applied toward your team fee if desired.  The top fundraiser for each team will recieve a $50 gift certificate towards Stix gear and the top overall fundraiser will also get a $50 gift card for Hibbetts Sports.

 

Moonlight Bowling Event

We will be hosting a moonlight bowling event at the 4-Seasons Bowling Center in Freeport on Saturday August 25 at 8:30pm.  The cost is $40/couple with a maximum of 100 ccouples.  Cash drawing and prizes available.  Contact a head coach or board member for tickets.

 

Banner Sponsorships

We are now soliciting sponsorships for our 2012 team banners.  There is a limited amount of space available with a deadline of Feb 10.  Contact a board member if you know of a business that may be interested or for more details.

 

Cub Foods Brat Stand

We will be applying for a weekend at the Cub Foods Brat Stand if Freeport again this year.  Hopefully we will be selected this time.  We will post more info on this as we recieve it.

 

Without the help of these fundraisers our team fees would likely double in costs and we would not have access to the quality of equipment that we use so please help to promote these events as much as possible.
